Tika Sumpter turns heads in low-cut yellow outfit in recent pic
Tika Sumpter looked glowing in a new photo that she posted on Instagram, where she sported a bright yellow outfit. This gorgeous picture comes as a surprise after you swipe left in her post of mysterious "Sonic the Hedgehog" cookies on her feed.
Tika gave her fans a teaser of what's to come in a post where she eats some "Sonic the Hedgehog" cookies. In June, the "Ride Along" star was reportedly in negotiations at the time to star in Paramount's live-action/animation hybrid movie of the famous character. She was set to star alongside "Westworld"'s James Marsden in the adaptation of the classic video game. The film is set to be produced by Tim Miller of "Deadpool", and produced by Neal H. Moritz of the Original Film Incorporated. The adaptation is directed by Jeff Fowler, and fans can expect to see the movie starting November 15, 2019, and marks the first time it is to be adapted on the big screen.
Sega launched the well-loved video game in 1991, which has sold more than 360 million copies to date, including packaged and digital games on consoles, tablets, and mobiles. In the game, a hedgehog named Sonic takes on a quest to defeat Doctor Robotnik, a scientist who has imprisoned animals in robots and has stolen the magical "Chaos Emeralds".
After posting a photo of her eating some Sonic cookies, people assumed that this was actually Sumpter announcing her upcoming role. She previously starred in the hit OWN and Tyler Perry show called "The Haves and the Have Nots", and her stellar portrayal of her character has allowed her to start gaining some roles on the big screen. Aside from "Sonic the Hedgehog", she will also be appearing on "The Old Man and the Gun", and Perry's next project called "The List", opposite Tiffany Haddish.
