Little boy helped 84-year-old neighbor after spotting elderly lady in trouble
Dorian Beshara offered a helping hand to his neighbor and got a rewarded for the kind gesture.
As reported by WCVB Channel 5 Boston, Beshara was only six years old when he visited his grandmother in Salem, New Hampshire, back in May 2014.
Looking out the window one morning, Beshara saw the 84-year-old Dorothy Beal in her garden by the bird pond, but he noticed that something was wrong.

Beal looked as though she was in distress. When she saw Beshara at the window, she motioned for him to come over.
His elderly neighbor later explained to the reporters that she was bending down to pick something up from the ground when she heard her back crack.
As it turns out, she had broken her back and was in dire need of emergency assistance.
Beal explained, "It hurt real bad, so I motioned for Dorian to come.”

Little Beshara immediately called his parents for assistance, who in turn placed an emergency call. The fire department responded to the call and rushed out to assist.
Beal said he is "her little hero" who watches out for her and added that they are "buddies" and have been since he was baby.
He visits her often and hearing his knock at her kitchen door is always the highlight of her day.
To commend Beshara for his quick thinking, the local fire department picked him up at his home for a private fire run on their truck.
According to his father, Beshara is a hero and "one of the most caring six-year-olds in the world. He said:
"Little kids can do so much; they do a lot more than they get credit for."
Beshara also received a certificate for his act. He enjoyed the trip in the firetruck immensely but said he wants to be an actor when he grows up.
