Halle Berry & daughter Nahla steal the show as they step out in matching gray summer dresses

Halle Berry just celebrated her 52nd birthday, but a few weeks before her special day, the actress was caught spending some quality time with her daughter as they rocked matching summery looks.

She had just returned home from a family trip to Bora Bora with her two children, Nahla, 11 and Maceo, 4, when paparazzi caught her on the parking lot of IKEA after running errands with her daughter, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The mother-daughter kept their outfits on a comfy note as they rocked matching loose grey dresses perfect for the Los Angeles weather in summer. The “Catwoman” actress wore a long flowy gray dress showing a bit of cleavage, and she completed the effortless look with a brown bag with long strands and furry, open-toed slippers. Her brown locks were tied in a messy bun, and she wore aviator sunglasses to protect her eyes from the scalding sun.

Nahla, on the other hand, looked like her mom’s twin donned in a flowy gray dress with the image of a zebra dressed as a unicorn printed on it. She also rocked white flat sandals and pink-rimmed glasses. Her hair was also in a bun.

In the pics, the pair is walking side by side as Berry carried a trademark blue bag of the store and Nahla enjoyed ice cream.

Nahla is the only daughter of Halle with ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubrey, whom she dated since 2005 to 2010, two years after the girl came into the world. The former flames were involved in a messy custody battle for Nahla after Berry started a relationship with Olivier Martinez and decided to move to France.

Things got so messed up between the trio that Aubrey and Martinez got involved in a fist fight and later filed restraining others against each other. Luckily for the little girl, her parents were able to reach an agreement in 2012.

Berry also shares son Maceo with Martinez, whom she married in 2013 until December 2016.

Halle and the fathers of her children had some agreement to keep the kids out of the spotlight, never posting pictures of their faces on social media and trying not to get caught out and about with them that much.

However, last month fans were surprised when the actress shared a photo showing her son’s half-face while they were relaxing on the paradisiac Polynesian Island of Bora Bora. The actress revealed in an interview with Extra TV what instilled her chance of heart, saying:

“I really don’t like to show my kids very much … but I do realize … my people are, like, solid for me and me for them and I feel like I want to include them. But it’s a fine line because I don’t want to exploit my children … I want to protect my children.”

Since then, Berry has been posting more pics of her kids to include fans in her most private moments. In fact, for her birthday on August 14, Berry shared on her Instagram stories a picture of the unique birthday gift she got.

It was a piece of art made by Nahla that consists on the face of a little girl with stars on her face.

Berry, who revealed she doesn’t like to celebrate her birthdays, did something that she found more fun than throwing a lavish party. The 52-year-old got together with two of dearests friends as they smashed cake one each other faces and had it recorded on tape.

The mom of two shared a funny clip of the moment on Instagram, and also a pic with cream all over her face that she captioned:

“How to celebrate your birthday when you don’t celebrate birthdays - check stories - love my messy girls for this one @iamlindsayflores @zarna #LeoSeason.”

Is clear that Berry still knows how to have fun, and despite following a rigid fitness routine and diet to keep her body in form, she indulged in a cake for her special day.
