Phylicia Rashād's only daughter stuns in red off-the-shoulder dress in rare photo with father
Condola Rashad, the daughter of actress and director Phylicia Rashad, best known as Clair Huxtable in “The Cosby Show,” took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a beautiful red dress.
In the image, the 31-year-old woman was posing next to her famous father, Ahmad Rashad, in front of the entrance of the theater where the Tony Awards were held. Condola was wearing an off-the-shoulder dress that had a deep neckline that enhanced her figure.
Ahmad, who used to be a professional football player and now works as a sportscaster, was wearing a dark suit, a plaid black and white shirt, and a black tie.
Both of them seemed very happy to be next to each other as their smiles were flashing to the camera.
For the caption, Condola wished Ahmad a happy Father’s Day and wrote that he has always been there for her. As soon as that picture was uploaded, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One of them was Instagram user Mark Clark, who admitted that Condola looked wonderful and that Ahmad looked like if he could play football again.
THE NFL STAR AND THE ACTRESS’ LOVE STORY
Phylicia and Ahmad got married in 1985, a couple of months after the brave man took his time to make a public proposal during a commercial break of a pre-game show on NBC.
By that time, both of them had been married twice already, and their relationship resulted in their third marriage. One year after tying the knot, Condola was born. After a 16-year-long relationship, the couple got divorced in 2001.
At the moment, Ahmad is living next to his fifth wife, Ana Luz Rodriguez-Paz, a psychologist who is almost as young as Ahmad’s daughter.
CONDOLA’S CAREER
The young actress has been following her mother’s footsteps as she has got several roles in projects like “Billions,” Smash,” “The Good Wife,” and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.”
Apart from that, Condola worked in the movie “Steel Magnolias,” where she shared the cast with her mother and Queen Latifah. However, her most prominent work has happened on stage.
She has taken important parts in Broadway, including Juliet in “Romeo & Juliet,” “Stick Fly,” “The Trip to Bountiful,” “A Doll's House, Part 2,” and most recently “Saint Joan,” where Condola portrayed Joan of Arc.
Last year, the 31-year-old actress, who has been nominated to Tony Awards, got engaged to long-time boyfriend, actor Sebastian Vallentin Stenhoj, during a trip to Mexico the couple did.
Nowadays, Condola is focused on her career. She is set to appear on the fourth season of “Billions,” which is expected to begin in the first half of 2019.
