Serena Williams' daughter Olympia plays with toy vegetables in recent pic with mom
Tennis player Serena Williams took to Instagram to share a photo of herself playing with her daughter, Olympia, with some plastic vegetable and knife toys.
In the photo, Serena was portrayed laying on the ground, which was covered by a soft-looking carpet, wearing black pants and a white shirt while flashing her big smile at the camera.
Baby Olympia, who is 11 months old, was sitting next to her mother wearing a pale blue onesie with a head full of hair while looking at the camera, too. Several plastic toys resembling peppers and some other vegetables were scattered in front of the girl.
While the picture itself was beautiful, the look that Olympia had on her face attracted a lot of attention as she looked like if she was caught doing something bad.
As soon as the tennis player uploaded that image, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @blonderedbone1, who pointed out that Olympia was growing up fast.
HER ISSUES OF HAVING A C-SECTION
During a conversation Serena had with Glamour, she pointed out that even though several people told her that it was possible that she could lose feeling in her legs, the tennis player never imagined that she wouldn’t be able to walk.
“My husband literally had to carry me. It was crazy. I went from being this world-class athlete to not being able to roll out of bed or move up and down. To be physically knocked down that hard was pretty rough,” revealed Serena.
FRUSTRATION IS ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT ASPECTS OF PARENTING
The tennis player revealed that, while not many women talk about it, she considered that the frustration when the baby starts crying and the parents don’t know what do was one of the most challenging aspects of being a new mother.
AFRICAN GETAWAY
As Celebritist previously reported, Serena revealed that she would like to take Olympia to Africa to show her where she is from.
“We want her to be able to build and thrive off that strength. And that’s only the beginning of what I want to teach her,” added Serena.
