Vanessa Williams melts hearts with new photo of ex Rick Fox & their grown-up daughter

Sasha Fox, the only daughter of Vanessa Williams and ex-husband Rick Fox, is all grown-up and ready to start a new chapter in her life. The proud mom recently melted hearts as she shared a gorgeous pic with her daughter and Fox on social media.

Vanessa Williams’s daughter is ready to leave the nest and fly on her own. It’s been a few months since the 18-year-old beauty was celebrating her high school prom and graduation in the company of her parents, and now Sasha has already moved into her new college dorm.

Chapman University welcomed Sasha and her entourage a few days ago as the girl dropped her things at the facilities in the company of her proud parents. Williams, who’s always ready to turn her camera on special moments, shared a picture from the memorable day with her fans on Instagram.

In the pic, Sasha is posing in between Vanessa and Rick, wearing a yellow crop top and high waisted black leggings. She tied her hair in two buns and rocked retro sunglasses and white sneakers. Williams, on the other hand, kept it casual with a grey t-shirt and white jeans, while Rick wore all black.

“She’s ready to be a Panther! Go Chapman!!!!,” Williams captioned the picture, in which all of them are smiling brightly, clearly showing their excitement for the beginning of a new chapter on Sasha’s life.

Fans took to the comment section of the singer to share their thoughts on the photo. One user wrote “So nice to see that both her parents can be there for her special day,” and another added, “I can’t believe she’s a college girl!! Congratulations Sasha!!”

“I'm happy for her, she's matured, it's amazing in high school how big the maturity leap is per year, and I think she's really gonna do well in college," said the “Daytime Divas” star of her daughter in an interview with TooFab last year.

Rick Fox was Vanessa’s second husband. They got married in 1999 and divorced in 2005, but they have maintained a friendly relationship for the sake of their gorgeous teenage daughter.
