Meghan Markle's estranged brother has emerged from the shadows to demand something from the royal family. Denouncing the way the Markles are treated by the royals and their aides, he hopes for his sister to make peace with their father "before it's too late".

According to Daily Mail UK, Thomas Markle Jr. spoke up amid reports that his sister was planning to visit California to see her mother, Doria. He said that he doesn't understand why the Markle family cannot be treated the same way as the Middleton family, even pointing out that Kate Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, had been welcomed into their circle despite having four marriages and a conviction for domestic assault.

During her trip to California, she is not expected to contact her father or any other members of her family, especially since Thomas Markle Sr. recently spoke to the media about his tainted relationship with his daughter. Just like his father, Thomas Jr. made sure to question why the royal family has chosen to shut them out, while the Duchess of Cambridge's clan has been welcomed into the royal fold.

He also revealed that he is crushed by how his father's relationship with Meghan has turned out and urges the Duchess of Sussex to "make amends" before it's too late for both of them to speak.

"They have [brought outsiders in] before in the past, like with the Middletons I don't see why our family is any different."

Adding how instead of ruining Meghan's relationship with their father, being in good terms with the royal family would have made Thomas Sr. happy and healthy.

"They've dealt with this kind of stuff for a long time and why they did it this way, that's the big question? Why? They could have looked after my dad and he would have been happy."

Meghan, who turned 37 earlier this month, has not spoken to any of her half-siblings in years and has not spoken to her father since the day after her wedding in May. This is the reason why it was just her mom, Doria Ragland, who attended the royal wedding at St. George's Chapel in Windsor last May 19.
