‘NCIS’ fans excited by the news about Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo
Former “NCIS” stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are planning to work together once again, and their project is a police series.
Fans who loved to see the edgy, flirty interaction between their characters, DiNozzo and Israeli agent Ziva David might be in for a disappointment, though.
The two will not be involved in the project as actors, and Weatherly posted a few hints on his Twitter account.
Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo will be working "backstage"
The two actors will be stepping behind the scenes for the first time as executive producers for the CBS drama series.

A dark dramatic police series called "MIA"
The series will be titled “MIA,” and will focus on a rookie homicide detective who is assigned to an experienced, conservative partner.
The two will be solving murders in Miami, while the new detective struggles to hide her dark and mysterious past.
Weatherly and de Pablo left "NCIS" and their charismatic characters in 2016 and 2013 respectively.
What's next for Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo?
Weatherly is now playing the title character in his own series, CBS’ "Bull", which has garnered approval from fans and critics and will be staring its 3rd Season in September 2018.
de Pablo starred in a dramatic mini-series called "The Dovekeepers" based on Alice Hoffman's historical novel about the Siege of Masada which took place in 74 CE.
The story focuses on four extraordinary women whose lives intersect in a fight for survival when the Roman legion led by Lucius Flavius Silva lay siege to the supposedly impregnable fortress.
