Meghan Markle shows off her legs in a black mini dress at the Hamilton Sentebale Gala

On Wednesday, Duchess Meghan and her husband Prince Harry went on an outing that benefitted a charity close to their hearts. They attended a gala performance of the Broadway hit “Hamilton.”

Meghan went for a daring fashion choice for the evening event. She even ditched her nude pantyhose opting to show off her slender legs.

The last time Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry were seen in public was at a friend's wedding in early August. Their last official public appearance was at the Sentebale Polo Cup in July.

However, on Wednesday, they appeared again at a gala to honor Sentebale which is one of Harry's charities. The Sentebale Foundation raises funds to support the mental health and wellbeing of children affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana.

It was held at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London. For the event, the Duchess wore a $595 black tuxedo mini dress designed by Canadian label Judith & Charles.

Meghan accessorized her outfit with a pair of matching black heels, a gold clutch, and her hair was styled into her signature messy bun. Her mini dress was hemmed just above her knee.

This outfit was a major shift from the looks that the Duchess has worn in the past. Although she has worn suits before, she's normally gone for dresses from Givenchy, Oscar de la Renta, and Ralph Lauren.

Since she married Harry earlier this summer she appears to have followed an interesting pattern. Most of her ensembles have been designed by a woman or a fashion brand that has a female head designer.

After the play, the Prince got on stage and thanked the cast and crew for a wonderful performance. He also thanked the audience for raising awareness and funds for Sentebale.

This wasn't the first time that Harry and Meghan have seen the hit production. The Duchess previously watched it with her friend Priyanka Chopra in New York City.

Meghan saw it again with Harry in February when they had a theater date night.
