Kim Kardashian models unusual accessory hailing from the past again

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian West donned “grillz” on a recent Snapchat post.

The reality star has always been fond of experimenting and trying new things, especially in fashion.

In the past, she has sported different hair colors, cornrows, and such. Now, she has been breaking social media with her new set of grillz.

Her latest fashion statement has been sparking debate between social media users ever since she debuted them.

With her new green hair, Kardashian West shared via Snapchat that she recently got grillz put on her mouth.

On the short clip, the reality star and mother-of-three shows off her custom-made grillz with her neon green hair tied in a high ponytail and her neon yellow top.

The grillz spelled out her name “Kim” with each letter placed on three of her bottom teeth at the center.

Many social media users were crazed after seeing her post. While some found it cool, others claimed that it was cultural appropriation since the particular fashion statement has been deemed highly significant in the hip-hop culture.

Grillz have become very popular especially during the early 2000’s. In fact, famous rapper Nelly even made a song about it in 2005.

This wouldn’t be the first time Kardashian West has worn grillz. She had been seen a couple of times wearing different designs just like her husband, rapper Kanye West.

Apart from grillz, Kardashian West had also been spotted donning fake lip and nose piercing on a few episodes of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Supposedly, she loves to wear bizarre pieces that make her original.

Most recently, she wore a prosthetic choker necklace that looked as if it was embedded in her skin.

On top of that, it had another feature which made it glow to the rhythm of her heartbeat.
