Taraji P. Henson stuns in pink-beige military jacket on her 48th birthday

Actress Taraji P. Henson, best known for “Hidden Figures,” took to Instagram to share a photo of herself wearing a beautiful outfit posing next to her dog.

In the image, Henson was wearing blue jeans with a flower design on them, a grey top, and a pink and beige military jacket. The actress was sitting on a couch while several balloons and cushions surrounded her.

However, one of the most striking aspects of the picture was the dog that was posing next to Henson. For the caption, the actress revealed that it was her 48th birthday and that she wanted to celebrate it launching a campaign to support her charity, The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation.

“For a $10 donation, you and a friend can win a chance to be my VIP guests at the premiere of my new movie ‘What Men Want’,” wrote Henson.

The actress added that people’s support would be the best birthday gift ever as they had the chance to make a difference in the lives of others. “TOGETHER, we will break the silence and break the cycle of mental health stigma in the African-American community."

As soon as Henson uploaded that image, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @lasd16, who pointed out that she looked gorgeous.

BORIS LAWRENCE, THE ACTRESS’ FATHER

One of the principal reasons Henson founded that charity was because her father passed away in 2006 at 58 years of age. The man suffered from mental health issues, which is why she is so focused on that topic.

THE CHARITY’S OBJECTIVE

Through the foundation, Henson would like to provide scholarships to African-American students majoring in mental health, offer mental health services to youth in urban schools, and work to lower the recidivism rates to African-American men and women.

A couple of days before her 48th birthday, the actress and her fiancée Kelvin Hayden went to the US Open red carpet.

Even though looking them together in such a prestigious event was wonderful, people couldn’t help to notice that Henson wore a loose bomber jacket that seemed like the perfect piece of clothing to cover her stomach.

Pregnancy rumors have surrounded the couple lately and, during the US Open red carpet, Henson allegedly refused to drink. Apart from that, she was “acting pregnant,” and Hayden seemed as if he was taking care of her on a whole new level.
