Gayle King stuns in golden gown in picture with Oprah and her beautiful daughter

Gayle King looked stunning in a shimmering one-shoulder gown as she visited Paris with her best friend Oprah Winfrey and her daughter Kirby Bumpus. The trio also revealed the one thing they all “love.”

King shared a couple of videos and images from the outing. In one video, the three of them stood in front of a lit Eiffel Tower at night as they took in the beauty of the sight. “We Love Paris,” the two older women said over and over again. Kirby seemed to agree as she added, “Paris on a Sunday night.”

King wrote in the caption:

“Can’t go to Paris w/o going to you know where! Midnite shot was @oprah’s idea fav daughter @kirbybump & I loved it”

All three women looked elegant in their chosen costumes. CBS “This Morning” host King wore a golden one-shoulder dress that was cinched at the waist. Winfrey dazzled in a regal green floral dress, and Kirby chose a flirty blue gown with plunging neckline.

In a later shot of the trio posing on a blue carpet, King revealed:

“Just three “girls” heading to shake shack in Paris (hah).. then onto friend’s dance party Clearly our friend has great taste in destination parties.”

KING AND WINFREY: HOW IT ALL BEGAN

King and Winfrey’s friendship has spanned over decades and rumor has it that if you need anything from the media mogul, all you need to do is have King in on it.

The “OWN” founder once said of King:

"She is the mother I never had. She is the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don't know a better person."

King and Winfrey met when they were 20 and 21 respectively and had remained inseparable ever since. They have been together through career changes, King’s marriage, childbirth, divorce, the whole nine yards.

ADDRESSING LESBIAN RUMORS

Their friendship has even been famously trailed by rumors suggesting they have a romantic relationship. Discussing the speculations, Winfrey explained:

"There isn't a definition in our culture for this kind of bond between women, so I get why people have to label it — ‘how can you be this close without it being sexual? How else can you explain a level of intimacy where someone always loves you, always respects you, admires you?’"

Gayle added that even in her imaginations, she could not imagine life without her best friend.

A DIVINE FRIENDSHIP

Here’s what the philanthropist thinks about her friendship with King:

"Something about this relationship feels otherworldly to me like it was designed by a power and a hand greater than my own. Whatever this friendship is, it's been a very fun ride—and we've taken it together."

The two friends recently went on a European vacation where they were joined by other famous friends like designer Diane Von Furstenberg.
