Jaleel White shares video of him eating s'mores with daughter, proving he's a great dad
Actor Jaleel White, best known for his role on “Family Matters,” took to Instagram to share a video of himself and his daughter, Samaya, eating smores at the beach.
The short clip showed Jaleel wearing a white, green, and blue hoodie, black sunglasses, and a white cap. Samaya, the actor’s daughter, was next to him wearing blue pants and a pink shirt.
Another girl was also with the Whites wearing navy shorts and a blue shirt. All of them were dancing to Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” in front of a fire while eating smores.
For the caption, Jaleel wrote: “Gloomy Saturday? No prob. We in L.A. S’mores and a bonfire [sic],” followed by chocolate and fire emoji and the hashtag “Monday Mood Changer.”
As soon as the actor uploaded that video, his followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @savwill, who pointed out that Jaleel was a great father to Samaya.
WHO IS SAMAYA’S MOTHER?
As I Love Old School Music reported, Jaleel has done his best to keep his life as private as possible. However, it is known that the girl’s mother is Bridget Hardy.
Even though there are no specific details about their relationship, ILOSM pointed out that they might have started dating in 2006 and that they split between 2009 and 2012.
JALEEL’S LEGACY
Even though the actor has been working in the entertainment industry for more than three decades, it is inevitable to look at him without thinking of Steve Urkel, the super nerd character he played on “Family Matters.”
Jaleel played that role for almost a decade – 204 episodes to be more specific. He won several awards due to his performance, including two NAACP Image Awards and a Young Artist Award for Outstanding Youth Actor.
SAMAYA ON HER FATHER’S INSTAGRAM
Like any proud parent, Jaleel has taken his time to share photos and videos of his daughter on social media doing different activities.
Recently, the man uploaded a short clip showing Samaya doing the “Zoom Challenge” in a pool.
In the caption, Jaleel wrote that his daughter considered she was funnier than him, followed by an emoji suggesting that he was not sure about it.
