Khloé Kardashian shares adorable picture with daughter True following racist remarks

Four days after True became the target of racist comments, reality star and fashion entrepreneur Khloe Kardashian shared another photo of the little girl. Khloe also recently revealed why she chose Kim Kardashian to be her child’s godmother.

Five-month-old True Thompson stared wide-eyed at the camera as she stunned in a white outfit and pink Gucci bib. Khloe’s face was not visible, but she matched with her daughter in a white top. She referred to True affectionately as “My sweet little mama.”

Khloe’s photo of True makes you wonder how anyone could pull off being mean to such a harmless, innocent creature. That was what happened when Khloe’s sister Kim shared a photo of the three Kardashian babies on September 15.

THE UGLY FACE OF RACISM

Pictured in the shot were True, Kim’s daughter Chicago, and Kylie’s daughter Stormi. With over seven million likes and thousands of comments, the image was an instant hit. Unfortunately, some of those comments were from racist trolls who came for True.

“I hate that True is so dark, the other two are a nice mix… she’s a cute kid, just too dark,” remarked one insensitive user.

Another said: “Not being mean but True is not cute at all.”

THE INTERNET COMES TO TRUE'S DEFENSE

The cruel remarks spurred other people to come to the little girl’s defense. One Twitter user shared a screenshot of the hateful comments and noted sadly:

“Khloe Kardashian’s daughter is already experiencing colorism at five months old… think about that,” one person said on Twitter, alongside screenshots of the offensive comments.”

Another fan disgusted by the events said: “Hate this so much. And the irony is that babies aren’t capable of racism until someone points it out to them.”

With all the negativity, it’s not surprising that Khloe chose to disable comments on the photo with her “sweet little mama.”

CHOOSING TRUE'S GODMOTHER

Meanwhile, on last Sunday’s episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Khloe chose Kim to be her child’s godmother and explained why.

After spending some days deliberating on her choice, Khloe, who was still pregnant at the time of filming, announced to the family:

“I can't make anything official until after the baby is born, but I am going to probably have Kim as the legal guardian if, God forbid, something happens.”

She added:

“Watching Kimberly be a mom, I really respect her parenting skills — not that I don't respect Kourtney's, I relate to how Kim parents more, but at the end of the day, this family is so close and we love each other so much and if anything, God forbid, were to happen, I know my daughter is in the best of hands no matter who her legal guardian is.”
