Acrobatic dance crew wows judges with their gravity-defying stunts
This season of “America’s Got Talent” was filled with truly talented and amazing people. One such group was the acrobatic dance group Zurcaroh.
One of the performances that Zurcaroh did was to tell the Biblical story of Adam and Eve in dance form. The then returned to “America’s Got Talent” during the semifinals episode.
This time their theme was ancient Egypt. Their performance, once again, involved members being thrown in the air and caught swiftly.

“Oh my gosh! On this show I go from crying to laughing to screaming to yelling, and then just being completely wowed and stunned. That was incredible, guys. I felt like I was in the theater watching your own production. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.”
Heidi Klum had this to say:
“I mean, it was an epic, grand spectacle. It was unbelievable. Every single one of you is truly amazing. So good.”
Simon Cowell announced that they were now going to call the dance group the “greatest showman,” because that’s what they were. He was left in awe of their capabilities saying:
“I never dreamt in my wildest dreams, years ago when this show first started, that we would find talent like this, and now we have. You’ve made all of our dreams come true. It was absolutely sensational.”
Judge Howie Mandel was equally thrilled as his fellow judges. He had this to say about the semifinal:
“This is an amazing night, the first Semifinal. There’s a saying in show business where you want to save the best for last. And I think we just did tonight. You are the best act tonight. You are the last.”
He added that he thought no other act could beat Zurcaroh as they were a show-stopper. The group got the golden buzzer from host Tyra Banks during the auditions.
The acrobatic group is from Austria and they were founded by choreographer and director Peterson da Cruz Hora. He is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Another group that stood out on the show was all-male dance group Junior New System. During the quarterfinals, they combined six-inch stilettos and gymnastics.
For the first night of Live Shows the group danced to “Can’t Hold Us” and “BO$$” and judges loved them.
