Elizabeth Mongomery could twitch her nose and get whatever she wanted in "Bewitched," but real life proved a lot harder for her.

A tell-all book revealed her deepest, darkest secrets and how she battled to find happiness, even though she quite easily bewitched men such as Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, and Gary Cooper.

Said Herbie Pilato, author of the biography "Twitch Upon A Star,"

"She enchanted every man she ever met."

Elizabeth spent the better part of her life in conflict with her famous yet overbearing father Robert Montgomery who was considered Hollywood royalty. He tried to keep her out of the acting business, to no avail.

As his daughter, she appeared to suffer from a complex where she always seemed to fall in love with older men or sought relationships with men who were unstable.

She suffered both physical and mental abuse in these love affairs, having four failed marriages and several love affairs that ended badly on all sides.

PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY

Montgomery and the President became good friends and although he was known for his flirtatious habits with beautiful women, Elizabeth never revealed anything salacious about their relationship.

GARY COOPER

Gary Cooper was much older than her when they worked together on "The Court-Martial Of Billy Mitchell" and a stagehand reportedly catching them together in Cooper's dressing room set off an on-set scandal.

ALEXANDER GODONUV

She was drawn to ballet-dancer-turned-actor Alexander Godonuv and had an affair with him while dating the man who would become her fourth husband.

Godonuv was an alcoholic, abusive, and self-destructive and would eventually drink himself to death.

HUSBAND NUMBER 1

Fred Cammann was a rich New York socialite, almost 10 years older than her. He wanted her to be a stay-at-home wife but she fled toward a career in Hollywood.

HUSBAND NUMBER 2

Oscar winner Gig Young was 25 years her senior when she married him. Young was another alcoholic and by all accounts was abusive to her as well. She bit the bullet with this one, literally.

Young was chosen as the voice of Charlie in "Charlie's Angels" but was fired for not coming to work sober. He would eventually kill his second wife and himself in a murder-suicide.

HUSBAND NUMBER 3

Montgomery married Bill Asher, producer of "Bewitched" and another older man. The couple both had affairs and their marriage crumbled around them. Pilato says:

'Toward the end of his life Bill Asher still missed Elizabeth and was crying his heart out for her, saying, "It was all my fault."'

HUSBAND NUMBER 4

She married "Falcon Crest" star Robert Fox after being together for 20 years. He was 9 years younger than her.

They were husband and wife for only 18 months when she succumbed to cancer. She had been diagnosed a mere 6 weeks before that and refused to allow family and friends at her bedside.

Elizabeth Montgomery left behind 3 children when she passed away in 1995 and a slew of men who were still bewitched.
