Melania Trump chose an interesting outfit that generated a lot of online comments
On Tuesday, First Lady Melania Trump accompanied her husband President Donald Trump to the United Nations General Assembly in New York. There, her chosen look had tongues wagging.
The First Lady chose to wear a black sleeveless dress. Some people on the internet have speculated that her look might be a stand against her husband’s views.
At the UN’s 73rd session, Melania Trump showed off her arms in a sleeveless safari-style black dress with matching pointy heels. Some people believed she was making a stance against President Donald Trump in her button-up dress.
A number of commentators are convinced that her black look could be a message against her husband's negative stance on the #MeToo movement. It could also be a stand against him discrediting alleged sexual assault survivors.

At the 2018 Golden Globes, an all-black theme was featured to stand in solidarity with those who have faced sexual harassment and assault. On September 21, Donald defended his Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, from sexual assault claims.
He took to Twitter writing:
“Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a fine man, with an impeccable reputation, who is under assault by radical left wing politicians who don't want to know the answers, they just want to destroy and delay."
Despite his lack of support, a growing movement surrounding #TimesUp and #WeBelieveSurvivors has sparked. The social movement #WeBelieveSurvivors has encouraged people who support Christine Blasey Ford.
Ford has accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her when they were in high school. On Monday, Senator Kamela Harris, D-Calif., and actresses Kerry Washington and Debra Messing expressed their support.
At the UN general assembly, Donald was left embarrassed when he was laughed at when boasting about his administration’s accomplishments. At the top of his speech he said:
“Today, I stand before the United Nations general assembly to share the extraordinary progress we have made. In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country. So true.”
The world leaders gathered at the assembly hall for the general debate burst out in laughter. Not to be deterred, the US president continued:
“Didn’t expect that reaction but that’s okay.”
