Boy is lucky to be alive after getting hit by a car while playing football
On Monday, security footage in the Chembur area of Mumbai, India, caught an incident that could’ve ended in a horrific way. A boy playing in a street was run over by a car.
The young boy and a group of friends were playing football in the street when the incident occurred. The result of the accident will surprise many.
A security video showed a group of children playing football in the middle of a road. A number of cars were parked on the side of the street.
A seven-year-old boy was playing football with his friend and had just dribbled one of his pals. He then bent down to tie his untied shoelaces.

The woman quickly starts her vehicle with the boy still crouching down. In the car, the woman couldn’t see the boy in front of her.
She reverses then accelerates out of the parking spot. The footage becomes terrifying as she crashes into the boy and carries on driving over him, completely unaware he is under her car.
The boy rolls out from the other side of the car as the woman drives away. Surprisingly, the young boy jumps right up and runs towards his friends who are still oblivious of what just happened.

The other children huddling around the boy as he lays on the floor; presumably in pain. A few minutes later, an older boy can be seen picking up the seven-year-old into his arms.
He carries him off with the rest of the boys following behind. The shocking video was shared by the owner of the CCTV camera.

The intention was to warn the parents of the children who like playing in the street. It warns of the dangers of leaving them unattended.
The clip went viral on social media with some people blaming the woman for not being extra careful especially since she was aware of the boy’s playing around her. Others defended her and said she wouldn’t have intentionally driven over the child if she was aware of his presence.

In a similar story, a 5-year-old boy was hit by a car on the State Route 2 Ebey Slough trestle. He suffered a traumatic leg injury.
It was later found out that the boy had manipulated a lock at his home and snuck out while his parents were in bed. Fifteen minutes later, the boy who was also supposed to in bed, was hit by a car.
