Tyrese Gibson and wife Samantha welcome baby after 30-hour labor

Tyrese Gibson is a daddy again! The “Fast and Furious” actor took to Instagram some hours ago to share the good news and commend his wife’s strength.

“Father God we love you for delivering on your promise,” Tyrese wrote, alongside a photo of his new daughter’s adorable footprints on a birth certificate.

The ecstatic new dad also revealed his daughter’s lovely name:

“Princess Soraya Lee Gibson is here...... 8 pounds 6 Oz our lives just changed forever.”

Calling his wife, Samantha Lee Gibson, the “greatest mother of all time,” Tyrese explained how tough the childbirth process was:

“My wife is the real champion 30 hours of labor I witnessed firsthand the strength of a woman..... Thank you Jesus we are so humbled by your grace and love and favor.... #Amen.”

Tyrese earlier took fans through the entire process leading up to his wife’s delivery with several Instagram photos and videos.

In one of such videos, the “How To Get Out Of Your Own Way” author announced that Samantha had gone into labor after the couple went to see a movie and attended church service.

"Always full of surprises my wife didn’t see this one coming,” he shared, before asking: “#PrayerWarriors, please send your most sincere prayers our way..... Our angel is on the way!"

"Our daughter allowed us to go to our last movie… Go to our last church service, and take a romantic stroll while holding hands through the beautiful botanical gardens of eden and feeling the presence of God in every step... no we’re headed to the hospital... Can’t wait to meet our angel."

Tyrese and Samantha, who tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in 2017, told People back in April that they were expecting their first child together:

“Both of our love and energy and magic and families are bonded forever because we’re going to have this child,” Tyrese had said.

Samantha, 29 at the time, also disclosed that after discovering she was pregnant in late January, the excitement made it impossible to plan a surprise reveal for Tyrese.

“It was me screaming and just being overly excited and just fired up about the news,” she confessed.

The couple was able to surprise their families with the news, however, and the reactions were priceless. Tyrese recalled of Samantha’s mom:

“There was no greater reaction than her mom’s reaction. Samantha is her only daughter, and this has been prayers for years and years, for her to get married and find the right one and start a family.”

In July, Tyrese and Samantha posed for a sizzling maternity shoot that showed the expectant mom flaunting her bump in all its glory. The proud actor took to Instagram to share the pictures, one of which included him placing an arm over his wife's bare cleavage.

Tyrese is already a father to 11-year-old Shayla from his previous marriage to ex-wife Norma Gibson.
