Magical place in the US where it’s Christmas year-round and you can celebrate it anytime

Christmas Farm Inn & Spa in the White Mountains in Jackson, New Hampshire embodies the spirit of Christmas throughout the year.

Established in 1976, the inn carries a rich history that begins with the gifting of the hotel as a Christmas present, which gave the place its name as well as the year-round theme.

The property was used for a variety of purposes including as a jail, a church, a farmhouse, and a Cape Cod-style saltbox.

In 1933, a man purchased the property for his daughter and gave it to her as a Christmas present. Later, she sold it to a couple. They eventually turned the property into a hotel and it got its present-day Christmas ambiance.

The spirit of Christmas is carried out by the hotel in everything including the names of the guest bedrooms. The names include Blitzen, Three Wise Men, Sleigh Bells, and more.

The dining restaurant is also given a festive holiday name such as Mistletoe Pub, which features extensive menus including a special menu for the children.

In the lobby of the hotel, there hangs a photo from 1946 of the very first guests of the hotel, the Freeman family. The family has been returning to the Inn for the last three generations.

The Christmas Farm Inn has been owned and managed since May 2010 by Gary and Sandra Plourde, from Maine and Germany, who have years of hotel experience in between them.

A stay at the Inn should delight people who are enticed by the Christmas season.

Considering the various psychological benefits that celebrating Christmas has on people, a stay at the Inn should be exciting for almost everyone.

Psychoanalyst Steve McKeown told Unilad that, in today’s world of stress and anxiety, people want to associate themselves to things that make them happy.

Christmas decorations and themes bring out these feeling of happy childhood.
