Ozzy Osbourne's Private Daughter Aimee Was by His Side in Final Days Before Icon's Death
Aimee Osbourne, long known for her distance from fame, quietly stepped into the spotlight in her father's final days — standing by Ozzy Osbourne as the rock legend took his last breath.
Ozzy Osbourne, legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, died Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, including his eldest daughter, Aimee Osbourne, who has long avoided the spotlight.

In a joint statement, the Osbourne family said, "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time." The message was signed by Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis.
Osbourne had returned to the stage just weeks before his death. On July 5, 2025, he performed at Villa Park in Birmingham, a show many now believe was his final farewell to fans.
In the days leading up to his passing, Aimee was seen in the United Kingdom, including a sighting in Manchester where she was photographed leaving a hotel with Wes Leavins, who is currently on tour. Known for her private lifestyle and limited public appearances, her presence in the U.K. signaled the importance of family during her father's final days.
A close friend of the family shared that Ozzy had always intended to return to the U.K. and live out the rest of his life in his home country, specifically to the family home in Buckinghamshire. "It was where Sharon had spent so long preparing their family home for him," the friend said.

The historic home features classic Georgian architecture with large sash windows, a slate roof, and red brick walls partially covered in lush green ivy. The contrast between the exposed brick and climbing greenery adds to the property's timeless charm.

Outside, a long, gated driveway leads up to the stately residence, offering privacy and seclusion. A vast courtyard and parking area is in front of the property, enough for the Osbourne family's cars, and with enough room for their guests as well.

In preparation for his return, Sharon and Ozzy had added a rehabilitation wing to their Buckinghamshire estate, designed to support Ozzy as he battled Parkinson's disease. The home also includes a health and wellness exercise studio and a pool house orangery.

In his final days, all of his children were reportedly present. "Kelly has been at the house a lot in the last week or so, so has Aimee," the friend added. "It is terribly sad for all of them. They really hoped he would be able to carry on for a bit longer."
Following his death, Osbourne's Black Sabbath bandmates shared heartfelt tributes on social media, offering sympathies to both the Osbourne family and fans, while mourning their own loss.
Drummer Bill Ward wrote, "Where will I find you now? In the memories, our unspoken embraces, our missed phone calls, no, you're forever in my heart." He added, "Sincere regrets to all the fans. Never goodbye. Thank you forever. Bill Ward."

Guitarist Tony Iommi expressed shock on Instagram, writing, "I just can't believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park. It's just such heartbreaking news that I can't really find the words, there won't ever be another like him. Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother. [sic]" He also extended his thoughts to the Osbourne family.
Bassist Geezer Butler shared a message on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "Goodbye dear friend — thanks for all those years — we had some great fun. Four kids from Aston — who'd have thought, eh? So glad we got to do it one last time, back in Aston. Love you."
While Ozzy had faced ongoing health issues in recent years, the family expressed gratitude that he was able to spend his final moments at home, surrounded by love. Aimee, though rarely seen in public, was there as part of the close family circle — quietly by her father's side as the world said goodbye to a rock icon.
Ozzy was, and will remain, a beloved figure in the music world. Just weeks before his death, he was honored with a dedicated exhibition in Birmingham, which Sharon attended on June 25, 2025.
Sharon attended the opening ceremony of "Ozzy: Working Class Hero," an exhibition honoring her husband.
