Melanie, Jillian, and Sasha give Williams a thousand reasons to be a proud mom. Not only are they gorgeous ladies -as they all share William’s facial features- but also smart, thoughtful and talented individuals.

In a recent post made by the former Miss America on Instagram to celebrate National Daughter’s Day, Williams gushed about her daughters with a heartwarming photo that had fans melting on the spot. IN the pic, Melanie, 31, Jillian, 29, and Sasha, 18 sat together around a dinner table at what looks like a luxurious establishment.

The three siblings looked beautiful even though they have incredibly different looks. Melanie donned a white coat with a black top underneath, while Sasha went for a sleeveless black dress and Jillian rocked a grey top.

They gave the camera a bright smile, basking in the joy of being together.

Williams captioned the photo:

“#nationaldaughtersday Melanie, Sasha, Jillian. I am so proud to have had the privilege of bringing such fine young women into this world. Stay strong, grateful and true. #daughters #blessings.”

THE ABC OF WILLIAM’S FAMILY

Vanessa Williams has been married three times. First, to Ramon Harvey, a PR specialist that was hired to revive her career after the Miss America fiasco back in 1984. Together they had Melanie, Jillian and a son, Hervey.

She divorced Harvey in 1997 and then married to former basketball star turned actor, Rick Fox, with whom she shares a daughter, Sasha.

The “Ugly Betty” met her third husband, Jim Skrip on a cruise around Egypt and after dating for a while, they married in 2015. The couple recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary, and while people believe the man is not “Vanessa’s type,” she’s happily married and plans to stay that way forever.

The third’s the charm, they say.

TWO WEDDINGS AND THE PERFECT MAN

Williams and Skrip had two wedding ceremonies. Since both of them have a strong connection to Buffalo, they tied the knot in 2015 at the St. Stanislaus Church, but since Skrip was getting out of a divorce and his annulment was not done yet, they had to get re-married on the Catholic church.

A year later, they went through their vows once again, this time in Williams’ hometown in Chappaqua, New York. “Yesterday we took one last walk down the aisle — this time in my little church,” Williams wrote at the time on Instagram. “Officially wedded Catholic. Amen! #MyJim.”

On an interview with People, Vanessa explained her husband’s appeal is saying:

“Jim is a real man. You want somebody in your life who has integrity, who is solid, who knows who he is. He’s romantic, and he’s a great guy.”

Vanessa assured Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest in an interview that he is her “third and final” husband. “No more!” she added. “I’m done.”

NOW MEET THE GIRLS

Talking about her daughters and the striking difference among them, Williams told CNN in an interview back in 2015 that:

“I am lucky to have three daughters who are completely different. I look at my daughters, and I have different relationships with all three, and there are parts of each personality that are very special. I rely on them for their particular qualities, but I feel happy that I have three completely different opportunities to make my mommy-daughter relationship different.”

Melanie, the eldest, had a brief career in Hollywood, but now she prefers to stay away from the spotlight.

Sasha recently graduated from high school and is currently in her freshman year at Chapman University. When she graduated from high school over the summer, her proud parents celebrated together, proving the great relationship they have despite their separation.

She tried modeling but lives like an average teenager for the most part.

A SECOND GENERATION STAR

Jillian, on the other hand, inherited her mother’s talent and passion for music.

Better known as the vocalist of the group Lion Babe, Hervey has a steady career in the music industry and has collaborated with artists like Pharrell and Childish Gambino.

She recently performed at Coachella, earning the praise of critics, both in music and in fashion, for her incredible stage presence and flashy outfits.

Jillian already graced the covers of several magazines and joined her mother in a partnership with the WomenHeart organization and Burlington Stores to raise awareness and prevention for heart disease.

“My mom’s taught me so much about being a woman. A lot of the things that I’ve learned most is just by example,” she said to Essence magazine a few years ago, and continued:

“I’ve seen how she treats people. She’s on time, she’s respectful, she’s very humble, and she understands what other people have to do and their roles, and I think just having that understanding and treating people how she would treat herself and her family, I think that just speaks volumes.”

There’s no doubt that Vanessa did a great job as a mom, and all of her three daughters continue to make her proud on their own accord.
