Meghan Markle stuns in navy Givenchy dress and coat at Princess Eugenie's wedding
Wearing a stunning Givenchy dress, Duchess Meghan Markle attended the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank on October 12 next to her husband, Prince Harry.
The former actress showed up with a navy ensemble, including her high heels, dress, and coat, which were design by Givenchy, the same designer that made her wedding dress. Noel Stewart designed her hat, which was also navy.
Eugenie and Jack’s ceremony took place at Windsor Castle, the same place where Meghan and Harry tied the knot. It was the first time after five months that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Windsor Castle, and it was probably very emotional.
A GUEST IN THE CEREMONY
As Harper’s Bazaar reported, Meghan was not in the bridal party, but she was in the ceremony as a guest.
According to People, even though there were several similarities between Eugenie and Harry’s weddings, who are cousins, there was no competition with their celebrations.
A LONG CELEBRATION
One of the things that Eugenie’s wedding will have that Harry and Meghan didn’t is that their celebration will be extended one day.
After the ceremony held on October 12, they are set to attend a lunch hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle and, later, a black-tie evening reception.
On Saturday (October 13), they will throw a festival-style event complete with a fairground and food stalls, reported People.
DIGGING INTO THE BRIDE AND GROOM
Eugenie, 28, and Jack, 32, started dating in 2011, and their love has grown stronger each passing day. The Princess is the current Director at London art gallery Hauser & Wirth. Jack, on the other hand, works with the tequila business Casamigos.
People finally reported that Eugenie was sure about tying the knot as there was a “genuine warmth” that came from her mother. A family friend told the outlet that Jack was a lovely, kind, down-to-earth man with a great sense of humor.
EUGENIE’S DRESS
CNN revealed that Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos designed Eugenie’s wedding dress. One of the most outstanding features of it is that it had a low back cut that revealed the Princess’ scars from a back operation she had as a child.
Several celebrities and members of the Royal family, including Duchess Kate, Prince Williams, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Cara Delevingne, Demi Moore, and Robbie Williams were present at the ceremony.
