Revealed: Why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Photos from Kris Jenner's Birthday Bash Were Mysteriously Deleted
When photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Kris Jenner's star-studded birthday party briefly appeared, then vanished without explanation, fans were left puzzled. Now, it seems there's finally an answer to their questions.
Photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Kris Jenner's 70th birthday celebration briefly appeared on Instagram before being swiftly taken down — and now, the reason behind their disappearance has been confirmed.

Sussexes Requested Removal to Avoid Conflict with the Royal Family
The images, originally posted by Jenner and her daughter Kim Kardashian, showed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attending the star-studded event held at Jeff Bezos's Beverly Hills estate on Saturday, November 8, 2025. However, questions arose when they vanished without explanation.
An exclusive report by Page Six revealed that a representative for the couple had asked both Jenner and Kardashian to remove the photos. According to a source cited by the outlet, the request was made with the intention of avoiding further strain with the British royal family.
"They don't want to piss off the royal family while they are trying to reconcile," the source said.
Photos Taken Down in Observance of Remembrance Day
The timing of the party coincided with the United Kingdom's Remembrance Day weekend, which honors members of the armed forces who died in service. Prince Harry, who served in the British Army for ten years, was seen wearing a red poppy on his suit during the party — a traditional symbol of remembrance.
Out of respect for the solemn occasion, the couple reportedly felt it was inappropriate for images from a celebratory event to circulate publicly during that time.

Pre-Party Consent Form Cited in Additional Report
A separate report by PEOPLE added that the couple had formally indicated they did not wish to be photographed for public distribution.
According to the outlet, Harry and Meghan had ticked "no" on a photo release consent form distributed prior to the event, which outlined rules for sharing content from inside the party.

Prince Harry and Meghan were among numerous high-profile guests in attendance, including Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Vin Diesel, Mark Zuckerberg, Adele, Paris Hilton, Tyler Perry, Serena Williams, Justin Bieber, Travis Barker, and Scott Disick.
The event, organized by Jenner's six children, featured a live performance by Bruno Mars. Guests were also given "James Bond"-themed party favors, including lighters labeled "0070" in honor of Jenner's birthday and poker chips printed with her face.

While the removal of the Sussexes' images drew considerable attention, their actual appearance at the party and how they conducted themselves among Hollywood elites offered just as much to talk about. Additional reports have since shed light on what Meghan and Harry wore, and how they interacted with guests.
Meghan looked sophisticated in a black long-sleeved top paired with a matching floor-length skirt and peep-toe heels. She completed her ensemble with a black velvet clutch and sparkling drop earrings.

Prince Harry embraced the "James Bond" theme in a classic tuxedo and bow tie, and he was seen holding hands with Meghan during the event. The 41-year-old also wore a traditional poppy pinned to his jacket in honor of Remembrance Day.
A source said of the couple, "They arrived hand-in-hand and looked very happy. Meghan was glowing. She looked very glamorous and fit the theme perfectly. Harry looked sharp in a tuxedo."
Meghan Made the Most of the Star-Studded Celebration
Another insider, who described the Duchess as "cool," said Meghan used the playful moment to connect with many influential guests. "She was definitely in networking mode. She schmoozed with a lot of power players," the source added.
Inside the celebration, Meghan was photographed alongside Kim Kardashian in now-deleted images that had been shared on Kim's Instagram account. Both Kim and her mother, Kris, quietly removed the photos featuring Meghan and Harry from their birthday posts.

Kris had originally uploaded a carousel of pictures from her glamorous bash, one of which showed her posing with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The photo, along with another shot capturing Meghan resting her hands on Kris's shoulders as they chatted animatedly while Harry looked on, has since been taken down.
Kim also initially posted a picture of herself and Meghan smiling for the camera, with another showing them posing together as Harry spoke with someone nearby. Those images have likewise been deleted, and neither Kim nor Kris has commented on why the photos were removed.
Meghan's Connection to the Kardashian-Jenner Clan
Still, Meghan Markle and Harry's presence at Kris's party was not unexpected, given the duchess's longstanding connection with the Kardashian-Jenner family.
In August, she sent the family products from her lifestyle brand, As Ever, including a crate of rosé to Kris. The reality star shared her reaction on Instagram Stories at the time. “Thank you @megan @aseverofficial,” Kris wrote over a photo of the gift, adding a string of brown heart emojis.
Star-Studded Night
Some of the carousels, posted on November 9 and 10, 2025 show Kris shimmering in a ravishing red vintage Givenchy Haute Couture gown, beaming alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment and tech.
Kim cozied up for photos with her "All's Fair" co-stars Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor, and the show's creator, Ryan Murphy. And the star power didn't stop there.

Photos also featured Victoria Villarroel, Kris's longtime partner Corey Gamble, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, Meghan Trainor, Vanessa Bryant, Ciara, and Snoop Dogg.
But Meghan and Harry weren't seen in any of those carousels. Curious fans had originally flooded the comment sections, seemingly implying that at least one photo with the royal couple had been posted.

"A party with Jeff Bezos, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Mark Zuckerberg, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. WOW, Thats kris jenner [sic]!" one netizen gushed, while someone on the same thread asked, "Where is Meghan?"
Another swooned, "Seeing The Duchess of Sussex finally having fun❤️ and in peace makes me happy ! Thank you beautiful Kris! U have a 💛 [sic]." But in the replies, one commenter questioned, "The Duchess of [expletive]? Where?"
A more excited post read simply, "You and Meghan 😍." Soon enough, however, many Instagrammers noticed the alleged change.
"Why removing Megan markle from the photo's [sic]?" someone questioned, while another stated, "Meghan's been scrubbed. 😂"
Now that multiple sources have confirmed the couple requested photo removals out of respect for Remembrance Day and due to their pre-event photo consent choice, the reason behind Meghan and Harry's absence from party posts is clear. What started as online speculation now appears to have been a matter of privacy and timing, not controversy.
