Honey Boo Boo turns heads with another sassy dance, ‘DWTS:Juniors’ judge is ‘really proud’ of her
When it comes to the show "Dancing With The Stars," stage presence is a huge factor. So much so that despite receiving the lowest scores, contestants can still stand a chance.
That's what happened with Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson after her performance of the cha-cha with partner Tristan Ianiero on Sunday night.
The 13-year-old was mentored by Artem Chigvintsev, who came down hard on the young girl after she decided to give him lip. Her sassiness was not only displayed in practice but also on the dancefloor.

With her spunk, Thompson continued to charm the charges. She had also determined to "prove to Artem that I do listen." Her efforts were reflected in her performance.
The contestants were tasked with dancing to a song that came out in the year they were born. The reality star thus performed to Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha" from 2005.
The judges' scores portrayed an underwhelmed impression, but their comments exhibited otherwise.
Figure skater Adam Rippon, 28, said:
"You come out here and you own it, was there a moment when you were walking around like you were at the mall? Yeah, 100 percent there was, but you can't help but just love to watch you perform."
Valentin Chmerkovskiy, 32, was more deeply touched:
"I never thought I'd get emotional to a Pussycat Dolls song."
Choreographer Mandy Moore, 42, called Thompson her "spirit animal."
Unfortunately, "General Hospital's" Hudson West, only 10, and partner Kameron Couch were sent home that night.
But the small victory for Thompson didn't come without its challenges and even some tears.
The mini-celebrity described the competition as "one of the harder things" she's ever done. Not to mention that over time "it actually got a lot harder."
In taking the good with the bad, Thompson also said that she's made new friends and has tons of support on her side from Mama June and her sisters.
Her partner, Ianioero, was at first a point of contention in whether or not they would get along. Now, Thompson says they're "best friends."

Best friends certainly help you achieve your dreams, including financial goals of $7,500 per episode for young Thompson. That amount is set to go up to $20,000 if she reaches episode eight and the final episode.
And regardless of the tears that may come, as witnessed when Thompson exited CBS Studios one Saturday rehearsal, it's always good to give whatever you do attitude and passion.
