Mo'Nique shows off 100lbs weight loss in video, dancing to Cardi B's music
Mo'Nique has lost a total of 100 pounds after her fitness regimen, and she is definitely not afraid to flaunt it. The actress recently showed off her new body in a video, dancing to one of Cardi B's hit songs.
Age is definitely just a number, as Mo'Nique proved that even at 50-years-old, you can still achieve your dream body. The Oscar Award-winning actress made sure to work towards achieving a much healthier body, and she has successfully done it.
Now, she has been flaunting her new hourglass figure, and fans from around the world are loving the transformation.
According to the "Precious" star who proudly shared about her fitness journey on Instagram,
“Today was the first time in my adult life that I’ve been under 200 pounds, so I wanted to let you all know it’s possible and you can do it and we can get there.”
Hollywood Life shares that her losing an approximate 100 pounds is such a big deal for the actress because she has not weighed below 200 pounds since she was 17-years-old. Now, at 50, she was able to do just that and it has done wonders not only for her health but her self-confidence as well.
For me it was with no surgery, no prepackaged foods, not listening to no spokespeople saying, ‘it’s easy, you can do it.’ It was just putting in the work and not giving up on me."
Mo'Nique later revealed that she lived by three fitness mantras, and she continues to do so up until today: "raw food, dancing your pants off, and giving yourself a chance to live the best life you can live". Of course, she decided to prove her mantra by dancing her pants off to Cardi B recently, saying that dancing to her music is what gets her all hyped up for work.
Indeed, this has all worked out very well for the lovely actress has been living her best life now that it has been easier for her to achieve her goals one by one.
