Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg recently took to Instagram to share a photo of her gorgeous mother, Beverly Broadus-Green, and fans can’t stop gushing about how young the lady looks for her age. She’s an ordered minister and has only good things to say about her son.

In the photo, Mrs. Broadus-Green looks stunning wearing a floral printed blouse underneath a navy-blue light coat and black pants. Her short blonde hair was styled in soft curls, and she completed the look with light jewelry, as she stood in the middle of the room rocking a massive smile on her face.

Some fans noticed the curious handbag on the bed next to Broadus-Green, which has a printed black and white photo of Barack and Michelle Obama.

“My momma still got it. U go girl. Thank you for having me,” the rapper captioned the photo, geotagging the location in Detroit, Michigan, where his mom lives.

FANS REACTIONS

People immediately filled the rapper's comment section with praises and blessing for Beverly. “She’s your mom she looks at least 30, in other words, she looks beautiful,” wrote one fan. Another added, “Ur Mom is sooo beautiful, and I love her bag,” and a third one said, “Hi mom god bless #MsBeverly the matriarch and Queen of the dogghouse Boss.”

It’s rare for Snoop to share pics of his mother, but they have a very close relationship out of the spotlight. The rapper, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., got his stage name from his mom, as she used to joke that her son resembled the character Snoopy, from the animated series “Peanuts.”

THE CALL OF THE LORD

Mrs. Broadus-Green was a head chef and church choir director for over four decades, and in 2005, she accepted the “calling to serve the Lord,” and got ordered as a minister. She’s a renown evangelist and philanthropist who has traveled across the United States helping battered women and at-risk youth.

“I’m blessed with the discernment to pick up on abusive relationships,” said Broadus-Green, adding that she’s using her own experience to help other women avoid making the same mistakes she committed in some of her past relationships.

In 2015, Mrs. Beverly created YouthBloc along with Marvin Fredlaw, a non-profit organization established to give young people “an online social education platform aimed at revolutionizing the way teens and young adults look and learn about the world of business.”

Her focus was aimed at young people that needed encouragement to take their attention off drugs and gangs.

BLESSING HER SON'S GOSPEL CAREER

While many fans are astonished to learn that Snoop Dogg is the son of an evangelist, considering the high contrast between their lifestyles, Bradus-Green has nothing but good things to say about her son.

“Since the beginning of his career until now I have seen a tremendous change in my son. Snoop is a man of God, and I can see God positioning him,” she said.

Last year, when Snoop decided to produce and release a gospel album, many people doubted him and his intentions, but not his mother.

The rapper made sure to ask for the matriarch of his family first, knowing that, if the woman with the closed bond to God she knew approved of his material, everything would go smoothly for him. And she did.

Snoop posted a text message conversation on Instagram where he told Beverly about his plans, and she showed how proud she is of her son and the work he’s doing to bring his music to new levels and be closer to his faith.
