Darci Lynne brilliantly performed the national anthem, showing off her real voice

Since winning “America’s Got Talent” the teenager has repeatedly amazed the public with her displays of vocal talent. We are remembering the time she sang a beautiful rendition of the US national anthem at a soccer game.

Soon after crowned as the winner of the 12th season of the popular talent competition, 14-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer gave a privileged audience the opportunity to hear her real singing voice and left them speechless.

The impeccable rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” Farmer performed back in October 2017 at Taft Stadium for the Energy FC vs Seattle Sounders FC 2 soccer game proved what she is made of in an event that was caught on video.

Her appearance in the soccer field marked a rare occasion for the public to hear her natural singing voice taking center stage without the need of her signature puppets. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa

“Thank you so much @EnergyFC for such a fun night!!” wrote Farmer as she took to Twitter to share her excitement for having the honor to sing the national anthem in such a platform.

Her fans immediately rushed to praise the teenage star in social media, showing how pleased and proud of her they were after seeing perform on her own the way she did.

“Finally I heard Darci singing with her normal voice,” wrote @AsiriAseerm. “Great job, Darci, and you didn’t need a puppet to help you get through it. So proud of you!” added Jaini Thompson.

The video of Farmer singing the national anthem was played more than 18.000 times, which is no surprise, since a month before she became the second ventriloquist to win AGT after 52 million people voted.

“It means so much to me that America voted for me and I get to see all of my friends and family supporting me and crying with me. It just made me feel so overcome with joy. And tears. Lots of tears,” she said at the time.

In a most recent display of both her impressive abilities, Farmer shocked everybody by performing an almost impossible duet with one of her puppets, proving once again that she is a league of her own.
