On Wednesday, President Donald Trump released a campaign advert ahead of the November election midterms. The clip has been touted as being “racist.”

It shows a convicted illegal immigrant who was responsible for killing two County Sheriffs. It, however, goes on to blame Democrats for him coming into the country.

President Donald Trump’s new ad campaign claimed that Democrats were responsible for the deaths of two Sacramento County Sheriffs. It stated that a Mexican citizen Luis Bracamontes was one of many illegal immigrants that Democrats would allow in America.

The president’s critics have called the clip racist and divisive. Writing on the video states, "Illegal immigrant, Luis Bracamontes, killed our people!"

. The campaign goes on to blame Democrats for “let him stay."

Bracamontes had repeatedly entered the US illegally and was sentenced to death. During his trial, he was removed from the courtroom for uttering threatening outbursts.

In February, the suspect smiled as his verdict was read and he promised to "to kill more cops soon." The advert is Trump’s effort to highlight illegal immigration as the main focus on the upcoming midterms.

In response, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez said the video was “distracting, divisive Donald at his worst." He called it "dog whistle politics" based on "fear-mongering."

So far, poll watchers have predicted that the Democrats will gain a majority in the House of Representatives. Trump’s advert also shows scenes of apparent migrants crashing through unspecified gates.

The video then asks, "Who else would Democrats let in?" The closing message says, "President Donald J. Trump and Republicans are making America safe again."

For his midterm election campaign, Trump has pushed the illegal immigration issue harder than before. He’s even given warnings about an "invasion" across the US and Mexico border.

The president has set up a step-by-step media coverage of a caravan of Central American migrants traveling north through Mexico. He’s threatened to deploy 15,000 US troops to the border in response to the approaching caravan.

It’s believed that the people were fleeing corruption, violence, and poverty in their home countries. This week, an “Axios on HBO” special revealed that Trump wanted to end birthright citizenship using an executive order.

It’s believed that birthright citizenship is enshrined in the 14th Amendment.

In early October, a "New York Times" investigation revealed that Trump wasn’t a self-made billionaire as he claimed. The publication found out that he had received at least $413 million in today’s dollars from his father’s real estate empire.

The investigation stated that much of the money was through tax dodges in the 1990s. The new information might put the president in a bad light and turn votes towards the Democrats.
