The "Because Of You" star tweeted: "This just in... I still hate working out. I'm sweaty, red, and not any thinner."

She added that people always say exercise is good for one's heart, but red wine is also good for one's heart. "I'm just stating facts here people. Who am I to ignore science?" she concluded.

Hundreds of her fans rushed to comment section, most in agreement. One user said: "Girl, I always say that there is ONE thing worth getting sweaty for and working out is NOT on it."

Clarkson retweet that and succinctly added: "Can I get an AMEN!" She added the "speak on it" hashtag for good measure.

She met Blackstock back in 2006 at a rehearsal for the ACM Awards, but he was still married to his first wife at the time.

There was no chemistry between them, though. Blackstock didn't even know that she liked him; he was under the impression Clarkson hated him.

Their paths crossed again in six years later at the Superbowl, after his divorce. They went on a date and the rest, as they say, is history.
