The children and their mother disappeared during a supervised visit with Child Protective Service at the Emma Prusch Farm Park in San Jose on Friday.

During the visit, a social worker took Priscilla to the bathroom, only to find the mother and son gone when they returned.

While the social worker was looking for Diana and Alexander, Priscilla disappeared too, but authorities believe both children were taken by their mother.

According to a family friend, Diana lost custody of her children in 2017 when an anonymous report was made that suggested the family was living in a car.

Diana reportedly didn't want her children to go into the foster system. The children's father currently resides in Mexico. The family friend, Vasquez, told reporters:

“Her mother sleeps in a car. I feel like they are sleeping in a car. My mom always told her if you have nowhere to sleep, you guys can sleep at my house, you are always welcome. We are shocked. We don't know where she's at.”

Authorities believe they are heading to Colorado Springs and anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or the San Jose PD immediately.

Diana weighs approximately 120 pounds and stands 5 ft tall; she has brown hair and eyes.

Both siblings have black hair and brown eyes, with Priscilla weighing approximately 80 pounds and standing 4 ft 7 inches tall.
