Meg Ryan flaunts her engagement ring in an elegant sheer dress with a dainty floral design

On Monday night, actress Meg Ryan stepped out for the first time after the news of her engagement was publicized. The star was seen at Friar’s Club in New York City.

Ryan is engaged to singer John Mellencamp. She flashed her gorgeous engagement ring to the public during the outing.

At the beginning of the week, Meg Ryan, 56, went to the Friar’s Club where her “When Harry Met Sally” costar Billy Crystal was being honored with the Entertainment Icon Award. However, her stunning look wasn’t the only thing that caught the eye during this occasion.

Her engagement ring from fiancé John Mellencamp, 67, was also quite visible. The diamond ring could be seen sparkling on a solid gold band.

The dress featured a high neckline, fitted bodice, flowing skirt, and embroidery. Ryan accompanied the gown with diamond hoop earrings, a bracelet, and a flower ring.

She wore her blonde hair down and had a thin diamond band with her engagement ring. The actress shared the news of her engagement to Instagram on November 8.

She accompanied her post with the words “ENGAGED!” An adorable silly cartoon drawing of her and Mellencamp reaching for each other’s hands was included in the announcement.

Hours before that photos of her out and about in New York surfaced on social media. Then, she was also seen wearing her engagement ring while talking on the phone as she headed to a salon.

The couple first dated in 2011 for three years before separating in August 2014. They rekindled their romance in May 2017, with a source sharing, “They have a bond.”

The pair isn’t very public with their relationship and like keeping things private. Their most public outing was on Christmas Day last year.

The two went to New York Knicks basketball game with Ryan’s son Jack Henry, 26, his son Hud, 24.
