The King and Queen of Spain concluded their visit to Peru with a reception at the Spanish Embassy, where Doña Letizia chose an elegant yet daring dress, featuring a low neckline.
The monarch showcased a style known as “chic bohemian,” which was favored by her mother-in-law, Queen Sof’ia, who wore it through the 60’s as her iconic look, according to Soy Carmin

To complete her look, the Queen consort chose dark red pieces, as she did before during her official visit to the South American country. She carried a Carolina Herrera purse that matched her stiletto heels.
The Spanish Royal couple arrived at Peru on November 12 to take part in a number of appointments, including a participation in a finance-related forum and a meeting with President Martín Vizcarra.
According to Vogue, Letizia’s chosen style during the Peruvian visit might influence Spanish women for the upcoming Christmas holidays, and the magazine described the look as perfect for New Year’s Eve.
Back in June, Felipe and Letizia made an official visit to the United States, and they were received in the White House by the US First Couple.
During the visit, First Lady Melania Trump and the Queen consort had tea together and talked about their efforts to impact the lives of children in their respective countries in a positive way.
Letizia wore a dress by an American designer as a gesture toward her hosts, but Donald Trump’s wife decided to wear a dress by an Italian designer instead.
