Heather Locklear was placed for a psychiatric hold after calling to emergency ambulance

Actress Heather Locklear is thought to be having a mental breakdown - the second one this year.

Heather Locklear, the television actress who first rose to fame in the 80s and 90 for her roles in the hit series "Dynasty" and "Melrose Place" has become notorious for her erratic temperament and domestic problems.

TMZ.com revealed on November 21, 2018, that Locklear is once again on psychiatric hold after her therapist diagnosed her as suffering from another mental breakdown

911 WAS CALLED TO HEATHER LOCKLEAR'S RESIDENCE IN THOUSAND OAKS

On November 18, 2018, 911 was called to Locklear's Thousand Oaks home in Ventura County California by her mother, after her therapist diagnosed her emotional condition as unstable.

Locklear, 57, was taken by first responders to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center and was then transferred to a psychiatric ward in Ventura County.

5150 - a California law code used to indicate the temporary, involuntary psychiatric commitment of individuals who present a danger to themselves or others.

ARRESTED FOR ASSAULTING A POLICE OFFICER

In June 2018, Police was called to Locklear's residence on a report of an undisclosed disturbance. Locklear allegedly reacted violently and attacked the responding officers physically, as well as spewing vicious insults. Locklear was arrested for on charges of battery.

SECOND 5150 FOR LOCKLEAR THIS YEAR

Soon after the assault incident, Locklear suffered an overdose and was rushed to the hospital and held on a 5150 - a California law code used to indicate the temporary, involuntary psychiatric commitment of individuals who present a danger to themselves or others.

LOCKLEAR HAD BEEN IN REHAB

Locklear had been in rehab and spent Mother's Day in May with her adult daughter Ava Sambora, 21. This was a mere weeks before the domestic violence call that ended with her arrest on battery charges.

The actress is said to have been frequenting Alcoholic Anonymous meetings before her recent relapse. Locklear is known for her unstable love life.

Ava Sambora is her only child by second husband, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, 58. Her first marriage was to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, 55. After their divorce, Lee would go on to wed Playboy model Pamela Anderson.

THE "PRICE IS RIGHT" HOST BOB BARKER RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AGAIN

Another Hollywood celebrity has been rushed to hospital on November 18, 2018. Bob Barker, the legendary host of "The Price Is Right" was taken to Los Angele's Cedars-Sinai hospital for the second time in less than two months.

Barker, 94, is reported to be suffering from excruciating back pain as a result of an injury from a fall in 2017. This was the nonagenarian's second fall, following a serious spill in 2015 that left him with scalp lacerations.

Barker was taken by ambulance from his Hollywood Hills home to the hospital and wheeled inside on a stretcher. but seemed responsive. His manager has reported that Barker is under the best care possible and is responding positively to treatment.
