Dwayne Johnson lets daughter Jasmine paint his face before leaving for work in heartfelt photo
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might seem like an intimidating man with his build up body, but when it comes to his daughters, the star is not afraid to show his softer side as long as they’re happy.
The father of three recently melted hearts as he shared a pic on Instagram of his 2-year-old daughter Jazmine using his face as her painting canvas. The “Fast & Furious” star recounted how exactly the situation went down, explaining that he was leaving to work, but Jazmine had other ideas in mind.
THE PERFECT CANVAS
“Me: ‘Baby come here and give daddy a kiss, he’s gotta go to work,’” Jonhson started the caption of his photo, in which little Jazmine is barefoot and clad in her pajamas while holding a brush to his face, already painted with green and yellow paint.
“Jazzy: ‘But daddy I have to paint your toes,’ he continued narrating their exchange. “Me: ‘Nope, daddy’s got his shoes on and gotta go to work, now come give me a kiss.’”
“Jazzy: ‘Ok, then let me paint your face, daddy.’ Me: *confidently laughs* ‘Absolutely not, now I gotta go to work, now get over here and kiss me.’”
“Jazzy: *while looking up at me with her mama @laurenhashianofficial’s intoxicating blue eyes… ‘BUT DADDY, I need to paint your face for work,'” Johnson continued, finally reaching the part where he caved in to his daughter’s cuteness, and admitting he had only one request:
“Me: ‘Ok, but make sure you choose manly colors that are flattering to my complexion.’”
“As much as I tell her no, with my crazy busy life, this is the stuff I actually love,” The Rock concluded his adorable post, earning series of “awws” and compliments from fans, who gushed about the actor being such a great father.
Johnson shares Jazmine and o 7-month-old Tiana Gia with longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian. He also has 17-year-old Simone Alexandra from a previous relationship.
JAZMINE TRULY LOVES ART
This is not the first time that Jazmine uses her daddy to practice her artsy skills. In September, the Rock shared a similar post, recounting how he was about to leave for work when the toddler intercepted him asking to paint his nails.
He refused at first, but in the end, her striking blue eyes did the trick, and he ended up sitting patiently as his artistic girl painted his nails in bright colors. “#PapaBearPriorities,” he said of the adorable father-daughter moment shared with the girl, and added, “#NoRemoverNeeded.”
Johnson is currently shooting “Hobbs & Shaw,” the first “Fast & Furious” spin-off where he will be reprising his role as Luke Hobbs alongside fellow co-star Jason Statham, who gives life to Deckard Shaw.
