Wife of 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' undergoes emergency surgery, son claims it’s ‘life-threatening’

Beth Chapman is currently in the hospital after she was rushed in to undergo emergency surgery regarding a throat blockage.

The 51-year-old star, who is married to Duane 'Dog' Chapman, was hospitalized on Monday night, November 26, 2018, after her airways became obstructed.

As reported by Page Six, her son, Duane Lee, said on Tuesday morning that his mother is at Cedars-Sinai hospital and that her condition is 'life-threatening.'

According to The Blast, Beth was in Los Angeles because she had been feeling sick for weeks and went to see a specialist, but little else is known about her health condition.

"If you love me, Lord, you'll let me die first. Don't let me bury Bethy."

However, it is general knowledge that the "Dog, The Bounty Hunter" star has gone a through a very rough time ever since she was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in September 2017.

A LIFE AND DEATH TRIAL

Beth underwent surgery to remove the tumor, also known as T2 Tumor, but the recovery was very hard for her. Fortunately, she had her husband by her side to help her go through it.

Just two months after the diagnosis was revealed to the world, the couple was more than happy to announce that Beth was cancer-free.

DOG'S PRAYER

The whole process was documented on A&E's two-hour special "Dog & Beth: Fight of Their Lives," and, although Beth suffered a lot, her disease also took a toll on Dog.

Losing his wife would shatter his heart and that was clear when he appeared in front of the camera saying 'if you love me, Lord, you'll let me die first. Don't let me bury Bethy.'

AN UNBREAKABLE BOND

The couple has been together for 30 years and, during that time, they have gone through many ups and downs, including the death of their daughter, Barbara Chapman, in 2006.

Their relationship is so strong that Dog even paid tribute to the love of his love by tattooing Beth's name on his chest, and the proud wife couldn't help but share a picture of it with her fans on Instagram.
