Reality star, real estate mogul and now personal dentist Todd Chrisley recently took to Instagram to share a video of the first time his granddaughter Chloe got her tooth pulled out. The girl’s adorable reaction melted hearts all over social media.

Proud granddad Todd Chrisley is reliving his fatherhood days all over again thanks to his adorable biracial granddaughter Chloe. The 5-year-old is the daughter of Chrisley’s eldest son, Kyle, but was adopted by Todd and his wife Julie at 6-months-old.

“She is our family member, and we're not going to be a part of anything that's going to cause her to feel less than.”

Little Chloe has earned the favor of people all around the country with her bright and sassy personality, and in a recent video shared by Todd on Instagram, she proved just how brave she is.

In the clip, Chloe is standing in front of her granddad with her hands behind her back and a thread going out from her mouth into his hands, as she gets ready to have her first tooth pulled out. “Are you sure?” Todd asks, “Yes!” Chloe says with conviction before Chrisley pulls the tooth out.

Chloe only manages to say “ouch” before Todd, and another member of the family start looking for the tooth, as they thought it went down the drain. Chloe shows off her tooth gap proudly to the camera with a big smile before Todd can be heard saying in the background “It didn’t go down the drain, shut up.”

“Yes, I know, now I’m Daddy dentist, my work is never done… #chloesfirsttooth. YES, we found the tooth…” Chrisley captioned the video.

Fans took over the comment section to gush about Chloe and how brave she was in comparison with other kids that start crying even before the tooth has been pulled out. “She’s brave and super cute, you have a model in your hands,” wrote one user.

Another added, “Too cute. You’re such an amazing papa to her she is so lucky to have you guys. She’s beautiful,” and a third one said “Such a big girl, not even a tear. Atta girl! I hope the tooth fairy pays you well for that one.”

The little girl was the product of a one night stand between Kyle Chrisley and a woman named Angela Johnson. However, Kyle was facing substance abuse at the time of the baby’s birth, and Johnson decided that asking Todd and his family to take care of her daughter was the best for the girl.

She was embraced by the rest of the family with open arms and started appearing on the E! reality show “Chrisley Knows Best” at age 2.

Speaking to People about what Chloe has meant for his family, Todd Chrisley said:

“I say, 'God gives you what you never knew you needed,' and we needed that. She has literally changed our lives in so many different ways. She's opened our mind to so many things that we didn't even know existed.”

When explicitly asked what things he meant, he added:

“We had never dealt with racism. We have learned that it's a very prevalent situation in this country. We learned that, unfortunately, the hard way with negative things that were said about her on social media.”

We made a conscious decision that she is our child,” he continued. “She is our family member, and we're not going to be a part of anything that's going to cause her to feel less than.”

As for Kyle, he is a diagnosed bipolar and is not in the condition to take care of his daughter. But that didn’t stop him from talking to the media in 2016 trying to damage his father’s reputation and earn the favor of the public.

“My dad showed no interest in Chloe at all until the show and until it was pointed out that having a mixed race child and getting her and all that would be good for his demographic,” he told Daily Mail. “He didn’t want to see her before then. He said he wanted nothing to do with her.”

However, Todd took the high road by discrediting everything Kyle said and stating that he didn’t want to start a war with his son.

Two years later, the father-son duo is allegedly working on fixing their relationship, and Chrisley revealed that he’d also like for Chloe and Kyle to have one. “My hopes are that as time progresses that she will know who her daddy is and that their relationship will change at some point,” he said.
