The 51-year-old reminisced on a simpler time with the sweet throwback amid the horrible news that her throat cancer has returned.

In the 2002 picture, which was uploaded to Beth's Instagram page, she can be seen wearing a green top and looking sweetly and the bounty hunter.

BACK IN THE OLD DAYS

According to Beth, the couple, who were in the bounty hunting business for decades, was 'on the hunt for Andrew Luster' at the time, a criminal who used a date-rape drug to assault several victims.

He was finally captured in 2003 by Duane in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, but the bounty hunter was also arrested in the process by the Mexican authorities. He was later released on bail and fled the country.

AN UNEXPECTED RETURN

That was only one of the many adventures that Beth and Duane experienced together, but now they have to face another battle: the return of Beth's throat cancer.

"The cancer follows the path of least resistance, so it goes downward."

On November 27, 2018, Beth was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, for an emergency surgery that later revealed the scary diagnosis.

GOING AGAINST THE DOCTORS' ORDERS

Against her doctor's advice, Beth left the hospital on Sunday, December 2, and flew with Duane back to Colorado, where they were greeted by friends at the airport.

Duane shared that his wife can breathe much better now but that her lung was 'full of water' and that, according to the doctors,' the cancer follows the path of least resistance, so it goes downward.'

The couple, who tied the knot back in 2006, in Hawaii, are now praying for better times, especially Duane, who revealed during the A&E special, "Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives" that he didn't want his wife to die before him.
