72-year-old Cher flaunts her long legs in a short black dress and she looks really great
The legendary pop star has once again stolen the show in her most recent appearance at the Kennedy Center Honors gala on December 2, turning every head in the house with her arrival.
Singer and actress Cher continues to flaunt an age-defying figure and beauty two years after turning 70. The “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” star showed up wearing a short black velvet dress with a generous cleavage, Fabiosa reported.
Her very low neckline left little to the imagination, although she discreetly somewhat covered her assets with a chain pendant. Cher’s slender legs stood out in fishnet tights and high heels, capturing most of the attention.
She left her black curls to hang freely and styled her hair in her signature way, parted in the middle. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
Internet users took to social media to comment on the star’s youthful appearance and sense of style, flooding her with praise.
“I absolutely love your dress and shoes. You looked absolutely hot gorgeous. I have two words: you [are] just one hot momma,” tweeted Crystal Taylor.
“You look absolutely stunning. You still look 21. My god, that dress, these legs, wow,” added @Jayne071710041.
This year Cher was among the honored at the annual event that pays tribute to people who have dedicated their life to work in American performing arts.
She joined country singer Reba McEntire, “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, jazz musician Wayne Shorter, composer Philip Glass, and music director Alex Lacamoire.
Cher co-star in “Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!” 33-year-old Amanda Seyfried, along with actress Whoopi Goldberg and singer Cyndi Lauper were chosen top ay tribute to the iconic entertainer.
Seyfried recalled the time she first met the legend, and how awkwardly she fangirled at Cher when they started working together. Lauper, in turn, performed Cher’s classic hit “If I Could Turn Back Time”.
“She is the true original. She not only marched to the beat of her own drum — honey, but she is also a one-woman band!”

As Rolling Stone reported, the ceremony, hosted by Cuban-born singer Gloria Estefan, started with a tribute to late former President George H.W. Bush, who died a couple days prior to the celebration.
“I think it’s appropriate to recognize the passing of a wonderful man who dedicated his life to service and who graciously attended this event many times during his administration, laughing, applauding, singing along and even shedding a tear from right up there in the presidential box,” Estefan said.
As for current President Donald Trump, he announced several weeks in advance that he was not going to attend the event, making it the first president in US history to miss it twice.
It is not a secret to anybody that Trump doesn’t get along with most of the country’s artists, and he keeps avoiding this kind of events.
At least it is fortunate that he didn’t have to meet Cher in person in this opportunity, as she is famously and openly against him.
Earlier in the year, Cher appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden” where she played the game “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,” and she was presented with two options: saying something nice about Trump or eat a raw cow tongue.
She didn’t think twice and went for the cow tongue. That’s how much she dislikes the current US head of state.
