In 2013, the Robertson family released a Christmas album called "Duck the Halls." The album includes some traditional seasonal songs as well as originals written and performed by the Robertsons.

Jase and Missy sang a version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” a popular song written by Frank Loesser in 1944.

The couple chose to take a different approach to the hit tune. Jase sang with his wife at the chorus. However, he spoke all his other parts.

In a behind the scenes clip, Jase, who calls himself "a frog's worst nightmare," said, “At first I tried to sing the first two or three lines.”

“But then I thought, ‘This is all about flirting with my wife!’ So, I scrapped that and just started flirting with her the entire time. And I really was! I knew I had done my job when after it was over, [Missy] was three shades of red.”

The album earned mostly positive reception from music critics. It debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart and number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

In December 2013, the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA. With 745,000 copies sold in the United States, it became the second best-selling Christmas album of 2013.

Meanwhile, the family's reality television series "Duck Dynasty" has broken several rating records on A&E and cable television overall. In March 2017, the series ended with the hour-long finale "End of an Era."

In an interview with Fox News, Jase said he felt that the show could never take off as a famous series.

"I was one of the ones who said the reality show would never work...We were in the hunting world," he explained.

"I had this perception of reality shows that you had to have all this friction and fits of rage and four-letter words...We're pretty calm compared to that...We've got some crazy characters in our family — but I didn't think people would want to see that."

Jase and Missy were married in 1990. They shared three children - Reed, Cole, and Mia.
