In Colorado, an ongoing search is underway for Kelsey Berreth, 20. The young mother of one has been missing since December 2.
The Woodland Park Police Department recently intensified the search. However, they are also reaching out directly to Berreth.
Commander Chris Adams said:
"If she's out there and doesn't want to be contacted, just let us know that she's safe and we'll let her family know."
Yet Berreth's brother said:
"After arriving at Kelsey's house last night and combing through her things, we know one thing is certain. Kelsey did not pack to go anywhere. All luggage is here. Her purse is all that seems to have gone."
Berreth was last seen on Thanksgiving Day wearing a white shirt, gray sweater, and blue pants. She was at a Safeway supermarket in Woodland Park.
The family held a vigil in Washington state. They are working closely with police to find clues from social media and anyone who Bereth has been keeping in touch with.
Meanwhile, two children who were said to be missing were actually abducted by their mother. 11-year-old Priscilla Penaloza and her one-year-old brother Alexander Penaloza disappeared on November 3rd.
Days later, a SWAT team arrested Moreira-Del Rio for kidnapping. Her children were in the care of social workers when the mother took them away.
The families of the missing persons ask for prayers that their loved ones be found.
