Apryl Jones melts hearts, kissing her long-haired son who resembles her in 'old pic'

After her short stint on “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood,” Apryl Jones has moved on to bigger things. She’s now a business owner and has several projects in the works, but one thing remains the same: she’s a mother of two beautiful kids, as she proved in one of her recent Instagram posts.

Apryl Jones first went into the spotlight as Omarion’s girlfriend on the reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” The estranged couple, who broke up last year, are the parents of two adorable kids: son Megaa, 4 and daughter A’mei, 2.

Jones and Omarion share the kids’ custody, but they spend most of their time with her. The proud mom is always gushing about the kids on social media, and she melted hearts with one of her most recent Instagram posts showing off the resemblance she has with her son.

LIKE MOTHER, LIKE SON

In the pic, Apryl is wearing a black cap while hugging Megaa from behind and planting a kiss on his cheek. The little boy smiled sweetly to the camera rocking a red t-shirt and a green jacket, clearly enjoying being held by his doting mother.

“Finding old pics,” Jones captioned the photo, and fans instantly flocked her comment section to gush about Magaa and give some advice to Apryl about her boy’s hairstyle. “So precious! You’re an awesome mom,” one user wrote

Another added, “Your kids are the most adorable, and you are stunningly beautiful,” and a third one only had one thing to say: “Time to cut his hair.”

BALANCING MOTHERHOOD AND WORK

The 31-year-old started this year with a bang, releasing her own wine line Apryl’s Wines, and working in a campaign to encourage women with all kind of backgrounds to chase after their goals, just like she did.

Talking to Hip-Hop Enquirer earlier this year, Jones revealed that people often ask her how she manages to juggle her business life with motherhood, and the answer is always the same for her: “I don’t know,” all she knows is she has to get things done.

“My babies are my motivation; I have to hustle for them,” she added. And continued:

“Having that mentality has helped me to able to get by, I have been able to create new wines and even write a book. It’s not about me anymore I have two babies I have to take care of now, it’s not just me. They have given me so much motivation that it’s very different from when I wasn’t a mother and single, now I feel purpose.”

Despite her efforts to be a good mom, Jones has faced the rage of social media users in several occasions, mom shamming her for letting her son's hair grow, for not dressing "appropriately" to take the kids to Disneyland, and for every other little detail that trolls and haters feel entitled to point out.

She remains unbothered.

APRYL SLAMS OMARION

Last March, Apryl made headlines after she bashed Omarion on Twitter for his poor parenting skills, suggesting with her words that the singer wasn’t keeping up with his part of their co-parenting agreement.

She wrote:

“Sitting back on some people, just because as you mature you realize not everyone is for you. I don’t mind letting you go… You can’t make someone responsible. They either wanna parent, or they don’t. and when they don’t, I pray there is one parent who will.”

Omarion didn’t fight back the accusations; he’s been busy working in his career, just like Apryl is working on hers.
