Alex Rodriguez steals hearts with photo of him and longtime girlfriend Jennifer Lopez on a swing

Amidst reports that Jennifer Lopez is interfering in Alex Rodriguez’s child support battle with his ex-wife, the lovers continue to flaunt their relationship with this latest picture.

In July, Lopez and Rodriguez turned 49 and 43 respectively, but in a recent photo shared by the former baseball player, the two could pass for teenagers in love.

Rodriguez looked dashing in a navy blue waistcoat and matching pants with light blue shirt, and J-Lo looked stunning as usual in a sheer floor-length dress.

The two sat side-by-side on a swing and looked like they were having the time of their lives. If we didn’t already see the pleased look on Rodriguez’s face, his caption surely gave the feeling away.

“You make me feel like a kid again,” he wrote.

The former “Yankees” player has two kids of his own. He shares 13-year-old Natasha and ten-year-old Ella with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, but the girls are already quite close to Lopez and have been pictured hanging out together many times.

Only last month, reports were rife that the singer/actress was interfering in Rodriguez’s child support negotiations with Scurtis, and that Scurtis was “blindsided” by her involvement.

Lopez was allegedly present at a meeting in Miami between Rodriguez and Scurtis to discuss some terms of the arrangement.

Rodriguez, who was married to his ex from 2002 to 2008, is said to have been paying approximately $100,000 monthly in child support, but the “Back-Up Plan” actress suggested that he pay only $10,000.

Lopez reportedly wielded so much influence during the meeting that she even made Rodriguez leave the room at some point. The meeting was initially scheduled to continue the next day, but after the tense interactions, it was called off.

Scurtis and her legal team are refusing to make any comment on the meeting, but she did hint that all was not well between her and Lopez.

“All I can tell you, there's been a shift, and I'm not sure what to attribute it to' she said, before explaining her concern more fully. Alex has dated some wonderful women since our divorce, many of whom have had positive relationships with our children. Alex and I have worked well trying to create a stable environment for our daughters and there has never been an issue. Until now.”

Lopez has been divorced three times and has two children with her third ex-husband, Marc Anthony. Their twins, son Max and daughter Emme, are ten years old.
