Donald and Melania Trump’s Christmas card has fans wondering where the ‘blood trees’ are
Christmas is less than a week away, and many people are sending each other cards for this occasion. President Trump and First Lady Melania are among those who have sent out Christmas cards.
Melania Trump has revealed her and her husband’s official Christmas portrait via Twitter. However, their picture inspired questions rather than festive cheer.
The photograph was taken on December 15 at Cross Hall in the White House. The president is wearing a tuxedo and Melania is wearing a long white dress.

CHRISTMAS CONTROVERSY
In the photograph, President Trump and Melania are smiling and on either side of them are Christmas trees with twinkling lights and red ornaments. Snowflakes were also projected onto the ceiling.
The two main questions Melania’s Twitter followers asked were in connection with the other family members being absent from the photographs and the types of Christmas trees in the picture.
Wait...what happened to the blood trees?

Usually, a Christmas card from a president will include his whole family, but Trump’s one only shows him and his wife. This resulted in many followers commenting to ask where their son, Barron, was.
The other question that the portrait made Melania’s Twitter followers ask was why the trees in the photograph are different from the red trees that the First Lady decorated the White House with.

WHITE HOUSE CHRISTMAS
Earlier this month Melania Trump revealed her Christmas decorations at the White House shortly after she hosted former First Lady Laura Bush at the White House to take her on a tour of the decorations.
During the tour, Laura stopped to take a photograph in front of her late father-in-law’s portrait along with her 20 family members.
