Miley Cyrus officially confirms wedding with ‘one millionth kiss’ in $8,600 ivory dress
After an on-and-off relationship, singer Miley Cyrus and actor Liam Hemsworth finally tied the knot on Sunday. The two finally married after meeting nearly a decade ago.
On Wednesday, the musician confirmed her marriage by posting some images from their intimate ceremony to her social media accounts.
One image that Miley Cyrus, 26, posted featured her and Liam Hemsworth, 28, dressed up in their wedding clothes. She wore a custom-made floor-length white Vivienne Westwood ivory wedding gown.
The ivory wedding dress retailed for a whopping $8,600. Her husband wore a black tuxedo as the two leaned in for a romantic kiss.

The singer captioned the photos of her embracing Hemsworth: “12.23.18” and “10 years later …..” She captioned the picture of them kissing, “This is probably our one – millionth kiss.”
Their surfer friend, Conrad Jack Carr took to his Instagram story to post video and photos of the couple on Sunday. Hemsworth was shown with his brothers Chris and Luke.
In the background, Mr. and Mrs. balloons were visible. Another image showed the newlyweds in front of cake and cupcakes, and Cyrus’ mother Tish was also present.
The musician’s sisters Noah, 18, and Brandi, 21, appeared to have also attended the party. The event was held at the couple’s home in Franklin, Tennessee.
On Twitter, Cyrus posted a video where she was dancing and lip-syncing to Ronson's “Uptown Funk.” It appeared that Hemsworth was filming the adorable moment before turning the camera on himself and joining in.
The couple has had a difficult on-again, off-again relationship and has dated for years before he proposed in 2012. The two ended their engagement and broke up a year later.
In 2015, the pair reconnected, however, and by the summer of 2016 things were back on track. Hemsworth and Cyrus met on the set of “The Last Song” in June 2009.
