La La Anthony responds to claim she's expecting a baby with Carmelo after recent cryptic comment

La La Anthony has finally reacted to the speculations that she’s expecting her second child with estranged husband, NBA star Carmelo Anthony.

Without mincing words, the “Power” star denied the rumors. “Absolutely not,” she told Life And Style Mag.

Talks of La La having a second baby started after she left a seemingly cryptic comment on an Instagram video shared by pregnant comedian, Amy Schumer.

Amy took to the platform to update her fans on how she was celebrating Christmas. The “Trainwreck” actress spent the holiday throwing up by a sidewalk, and La La’s comment left room for some suspicion. She wrote:

“I’m with u!! Merry Christmas babe.”

Social media users immediately reacted to the comment. “What? Why are you ‘with’ her La La?” one fan asked, while another was very direct:

“La La are you pregnant too?”

Some even congratulated the former VJ on her “pregnancy” and pointed to the fact that she had been spotted in baggy clothes more often recently.

Coincidentally, the 39-year-old was also seen out and about in Baggy clothes one day after making the controversial comment.

La La did not respond to the remarks from netizens, but she has now explained why she could relate to Amy’s situation:

“I suffered from severe hyperemesis as well during my pregnancy with my son, Kiyan, who is 11.”

La La and Carmelo, 34, separated in April 2017 following reports of the latter cheating. At the time, the split was amicable, and in no time, the two were seen getting cozy in public regularly.

The fashion entrepreneur gave an update on their relationship in October, admitting that they were trying to figure out how to make it work and do what is best for their son.

Meanwhile, a source confirmed to US magazine earlier this month that the couple is back together.

“La La and Carmelo have recently reconciled and they truly still love one another. It’s so obvious when they’re together. They also both want what’s best for their son and are committed to being a family.”
