Her celebrity friends also took time to encourage CupcakKe. Charli XCX did two collaborations with her in 2017.

She said in a tweet:

"You are one of the most unique, genuine and loving people I have ever met in this industry. You are powerful. People believe in you. People want to listen to every word you have to say."

And comedian Elijah Daniel also did what he could. He later informed fans that the police were contacted and went to CupCakKe's home.

He said:

"I've never felt so relieved and sad at the same time, @CupcakKe_rapper i love you more than you'll ever know. You're one of the sweetest souls I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and you're not leaving us. we won't let it happen."

On Tuesday, CupcakKe addressed the matter. She said:

"I've been fighting with depression for the longest... sorry that I did it public last night but I'm ok. I went to the hospital & I'm finally getting the help that I need to get through, be happy, & deliver great music. Thanks for all the prayers but please don't worry [about] me."

She later added:

"Thank you for everything y'all have done for me. I really appreciate it."

The Chicago Police Department informed the media that the rapper underwent a mental evaluation on Tuesday.

Back in August 2018, the artist admitted to fans that she was going through depression at the time.

CupcakKe has enjoyed popularity in the industry since 2012. In 2015, she saw two songs go viral. Her latest LP set was released in November 2018.

Sadly, a young girl followed through with the horrific act back in October 2018. Alexandra Valoras killed herself after being bullied at school.

The 17-year-old jumped to her death from a bridge in Grafton, Massachusetts. Her parents were left distraught.

A journal of 200 pages revealed self-disparaging words from the teen. The family sought to help others who may be going through the same thing.
