Beyonce was recently photographed walking through the diaper section of Target causing a social media meltdown after the photo was shared on Twitter.

CHRISSY TEIGEN REACTS

It’s unclear if Beyonce who was dressed in an orange jumpsuit and sporting shades was at the store to purchase something or merely whiling away her time. But Chrissy Tiegen couldn’t help it and joked about it. Referring to her Cravings cookware she sells exclusively at Target, she tweeted,

“Beyonce you are so silly, I can just send you my new knives!!”

MORE REACTIONS OF DISBELIEF

Like Chrissy, fans immediately took to Twitter to express their shock and delight seeing the powerhouse singer wasn’t averse to their favorite store.

“Icons are just like us,” one user wrote.

“American Horror Story”’s Leslie Grossman shared the same sentiment.

“I WAS JUST INFORMED BEYONCÉ WAS AT MY LOCAL TARGET TODAY. I WAS THINKING OF GOING BECAUSE I NEED NEW SONICARE BRUSH HEADS BUT THEN I GOT TOO BUSY GODDAMNIT THIS IS DEVASTATING.”

There were also those who made jokes out of the reactions to Beyonce’s Target visit. One fan, in particular, noticed the angle of the photo that spread like wildfire. He suggested the customer who took it may have collapsed in shock and snuck a photo while he was on the floor.

Here were the other fun tweets that stemmed from this rare sighting.

NOT HER FIRST TIME IN TARGET

It’s surprising that fans are reacting wildly over Beyonce’s recent shopping rendezvous when this isn’t the first time she’s gone to Target. The mother of three had previously been seen at the department store during Christmas and Easter, even taking advantage of discounts. In March, she was spotted shopping there with her daughter Blue Ivy sans security.

LEADING A NORMAL LIFE

It seems Beyonce is trying to live a life as normal as possible lately. Last Christmas, she and her family were spotted enjoying an afternoon in a New York park. Along with her husband Jay-Z, their daughter Blue and twins Rumi and Sir, she brought her grandmother along to see the bench they dedicated to her in the park as a gift. Ok, well, that part isn’t normal but still, they were relaxing in a public park. That’s enough reason to classify the outing as something mere mortals do.
