Traci Braxton celebrates son's 23rd birthday with sweet photo of him and her little grandson

Traci Braxton took to Instagram to congratulate her son, Kevin Jr., on his birthday. The songstress melted hearts by sharing a pic of the young man and her grandson, Kevin III, who gave her the title of Duchess after his birth.

Traci Braxton is a proud mom as she celebrated her son’s birthday on social media. The singer and reality star shared an adorable pic of Kevin Jr. wearing only grey sweatpants and rocking long dreadlocks while holding his son in arms. The baby, on the other hand, wore an orange t-shirt, khaki pants, and blue shoes.

“Happy Birthday Son.... @sirkevinjr Love you so much enjoy your day......” Traci captioned the cute shot.

Braxton was not the only one melting hearts with her post, as Kevin’s girlfriend and the mother of his child, Olivia Haaron, also took to her account to share a lovely message for the young man’s birthday.

The new mom shared a series of adorable pics of her little family enjoying several activities together, and highlighting Kevin’s parenting skills, and captioned it:

“I know your birthday was yesterday but you deserved my undivided attention... Thank you for being the best Dad, Partner, Friend, and all around good person. I love you so much Happy 23rd Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @sirkevinjr”

A DUCHESS IN THE FAMILY

The young couple welcomed baby Kevin III last May, and the adorable boy was the perfect Mother’s Day gift for Traci, who explained she was blessed and honored for being The Duchess of a healthy baby boy.

Braxton explained to The Grio where the nickname came from, saying:

“[Kevin Jr.] made me a duchess and I’m ecstatic because now my parents, my sisters, and my brother…my grand-baby is making them a first generation of a great-grandchild.”

And continued:

“My sisters and I…when we were younger, we said if we ever have kids, and our kids have kids, our names would be Duchess. That’s royalty, that’s what they call the Queens when they have grandkids. So, I’m royalty.

GUIDING YOUNG PARENTS

Traci also revealed that her son kept his girlfriend’s pregnancy a secret months after they found out about it. So, her initial reaction when they told her was to smack him in the head.

However, she later got passed her initial shock and anger and made sure to coach the new parents in all they needed to know when having a baby. Traci enrolled Kevin and Olivia on a “Baby Boot Camp,” after she realized they weren’t considering every little detail they needed to know.

It seems like the lessons were useful for the young couple, as they have been enjoying the joys of parenthood and sharing some of the most adorable moments with their boy on Instagram, for the delight of the Braxton family’s fans.
