Waka Flocka re-proposes to wife Tammy with 'real' engagement ring after 5 years of marriage

To mark the five year anniversary of their marriage, Waka Flocka decided to be extra romantic. He re-proposed to wife Tammy with a "real" engagement ring.

Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera have a long history of trouble in their marriage. But the couple has worked tirelessly to save it.

The couple eloped in 2014. They then appeared on the reality tv show "Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars" and the show intervened and helped sort out some of their issues.

Now, five years into their marriage it seems the couple is in a good place. Tammy took to Instagram to show off the special anniversary gift Waka Flocka bought for her.

In her post, Tammy showed off the "real" engagement ring he had bought her. She went on to reveal that the rapper had proposed again with the ring he felt she deserved this time.

The post garnered over four hundred thousand likes. It showed off a gorgeous diamond ring with a huge central diamond.

"#NoFlash Jan 21st we will be married for 5 years! We always said if we survive 5 years we will do the whole traditional ceremony, The Rings, The wedding, The Dress THE WHOLE SHEBANG!! So I’m happy to announce we will be having a destination wedding the right way with our mothers by our side on jan 19! Every since I seen the episode of Martin when him and Gina got married on the beach that was my dream wedding" revealed Tammy in her caption.

Her caption also announced that they will be redoing their wedding day. This time the couple intends to do it with all the extras.

Tammy says their parents will be in attendance along with their families and friends. She revealed that her idea of a dream wedding is one on the beach.

Waka's mum, Deb Atney. when questioned about their first wedding revealed, “I was selfish. I wanted to be a part of it. They got a marriage license about two weeks ago without me knowing it. [He]kept his word. He said that he was going to marry her and he did it on his terms. It was very cute to me.”

Last year, fans were shocked to realize Waka wasn't the only one with infidelities. In an episode of their tv show, Tammy revealed she had also made mistakes.

In an interview, Tammy had said, “I’ve cheated on him in the past [as well]. People only see one side to a story.”

It seems however that the couple has dealt with their past and is focused on moving forward instead. Waka has been making a concerted effort since last year to fix his marriage and spend time with his family.

Last year, he melted hearts when he posted a gorgeous pic of his stepdaughter, Charlie. He captioned the pic with a sweet message to his wife writing:
